Review of Fortifying Shampoo and Ultra Volume Conditioner for Women

by Lauren

Hello lovelies! Not long ago I got a message from Reseed asking if I’d like to try their shampoo and conditioner, all the ingredients are natural so I obviously said yes! The Reseed website has men’s and women’s shampoos and conditioner so there’s something for everyone! They sent me their Ginkgo and Sabal Fortifying Shampoo for Women and their Wheat Bran Ultra Volume Conditioner for Women.

Reseed are a brand who concentrate on helping to combat/prevent hair loss. They use natural ingredients such as Anageline, Rosemary, Thymus Vulgaris and Vitamin E. Reseed do not test on animals nor do they use ingredients by manufacturers that commission animal testing, they also strive to be as environmentally friendly as possible! I’ve been using the shampoo and conditioner together for a while now and I have definitely noticed a difference in the thickness and health of my hair.

Ginkgo & Sabal Fortifying Shampoo – The first few times I used this shampoo I wasn’t really impressed with the results, I can usually go three days without having to wash my hair but when I used this my hair was looking greasy the next day, in all fairness, it didn’t feel greasy so I just put my hair up and it was fine. I looked up online about changing to an all natural shampoo and it said that might happen as it’s cleaning out all the un-natural gunk etc so I just let it play out. After the third time of using it my hair must of been used to the new formula because I was back to washing my hair every fourth day, yay.

I’ve been using this shampoo for about a month now and my hair has started looking thick and feeling healthy. I really enjoy the scent of this shampoo as it’s fruity and not too strong! I use such a small amount of this every time I use it as it’s a highly concentrated product so even the smallest amount was enough for it to lather up and wash my whole head of hair, and it actually lathers up really nice! The formula is clear and made up of natural ingredients such as, Gingko Biloba extract, Sabal extract and Vitamin E Forte. You can find this on the Reseed website for £18.00 and you get 250ml of product.

Wheat Bran Ultra Volume Conditioner – I was a bit wary as the formula is quite thin and usually I like quite a heavy/thick conditioner so my hair feels moisturised but from the first use my hair felt light and moisturised while still looking healthy and shiny! I’ve been using this for about a month now too and again I only use the smallest amount of this as it’s enough to make my hair feel the softest it has for a while and it looks so much thicker from a month ago! My hair was a bit bouncier but I wouldn’t say this conditioner added a lot of volume to my hair!

There’s not much of a scent to this, it just smells clean and fresh! It’s full of beneficial natural ingredients such as, Pomegranate extract, Wheatbran and Prodew 500 which is a new technology amino acid blend! This conditioner retails for £19.00 and again you get 250ml of product!

Overall this is a great choice if you’re looking for a natural, hair thickening, shampoo and conditioner that won’t break the bank. I’ve been using this for ages and I still have so much product left as I’m having to wash my hair less and less! You can also get free UK delivery with any order on the Reseed website! You can find them on Twitter – here & Instagram – here.
